I like this book (story) because it kept my interest right to the end. The story grabbed me in the first chapter (this is what I look for in a book) It took me through 3 stages, first I thought it to be a murder mystery then half way through the story it became a science fiction story but no it had a different ending. I would like to see more written by this author.Product details

Surprisingly good. Well rounded characters, with NO superpowers, in a suspenseful and believable situation, that could end "badly" for them. I cared about the outcome and did not see it coming.
"Male Down" will probably not win a Nobel but it is a good read. I hope the author maintained the film rights, I can see Ryan Gosling, or better yet Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role.
I'd also like to see the author's next (previous?) efforts.
A pretty decent read. Story is pretty well developed and the characters are just 'normal people' not android soldier-types doing superhuman feats of strength and intelligence. Overall, a pretty good 4-5 hour read.
I was very pleased at this first time read of this author. Future installments are being anxiously awaited.
